While Ensenada is not a dream destination , we've enjoyed our stay here a lot - it's really grown on us, but we like Mexico a lot even though it's made us appreciate the clean streets and sidewalks in the US more. The best time to visit Mexico is September or May, though some parts still have a fair amount of rain in October and November. Not worth the hassle for a couple times.
