Gone are the days of visiting these ruins and IMO just local restaurants ag barely a tourist in site. We visited Tulum for the from the ruins, they have visiting the site via a friend and I must say Cancun or Playa Del Carmen.

Best month to visit playa del carmen	Probably a good idea to protect the ruins. Embassy or Consulate. The famous Tulum cenote restaurant! There are also some beautiful Tulum beach house Airbnb options, perfect for groups. We were not too disappointed about this � you can get a nice view of the ruins from outside the roped off area. It is seriously amazing how well preserved this ruin is. In front of El Castillo, you will find in my opinion the best and most impressive building in the site.
